Well I’m often nervous about carrying out work on my property with companies but I decided to go ahead and have a loft conversion with Pro Lofts Leigh On Sea and what a brilliant decision it was. Happy doesn’t cut it the service provided was outstanding by Paul & James. Always on time and the best part was the honesty and that’s why I’d use them 100 times over. It’s not often builders are honest about certain situations but Paul was always to the point with any issues that may have occurred. Pro lofts were so professional and we felt confident about asking them to carry out our loft conversion from the start. Paul seemed so keen to do the work and wanted to see the loft space straight away to see what needed to be done. He had some great ideas which really improved the original plans such as giving us loft space in the eaves, an extra window at the side, swapping over the originally planned bathroom and smaller bedroom and managing to squeeze out some extra space in the rooms. We were given an itemised payment schedule at the start which really helped. Cherelle reminded us when payments were due and there were no problems. Paul and James were both so respectful and polite and worked so hard for the whole time. During the project, we were kept updated with the progress and Paul showed us what stage he was at on many occasions. We’d really recommend Pro lofts to anybody looking for a loft conversion or extension.

I have recently had a loft conversion which was carried out by Pro Lofts. I had two bedrooms and a bathroom created in my old loft space and I am truly astounded at the results. I now have 3 useful, light airy rooms that improve my property immensely. The Pro Lofts team have been professional in every way. They are excellent workers of the highest quality but more importantly to me they treated me and my family and my home with great respect. They were very organised and tidy and polite. I also had a garden room erected on the site of my old garage. The owner of Pro Lofts was so helpful and creative with his input for ideas on this project and the result is several highly useful and versatile spaces within a self-contained building. I have no hesitation in recommending Pro Lofts to anybody considering enhancing their home with an extension or conversion. In fact I have already passed their name on to a family member who lives nearby who is going through the process of obtaining a quote for a loft conversion. The price that Pro Lofts charge is in line with the going market rate and is excellent value for money considering the standard of work. They are transparent about all costs and I felt confident that they were doing the best job for a very fair price.

We mortgaged our home and decided to extend into the roof, adding two bedrooms and a shower room. After getting a few quotes in we made the decision to go with Pro Lofts. Once I met Paul I knew this was the company who would be helping us change our home. He was friendly and willing to answer my list of 101 questions. He explained the process clearly in language I was able to understand. Paul then introduced me to James who would be managing our build and be the main point of contact. There was also another James working on site. Both big James and little James quickly became part of our home, working hard, keeping everything clean and whilst being fuelled by tea and biscuits they gave me time to explain what and why they were doing the things they were doing. They involved me throughout the build which, as a bit of a control freak, i loved. But the thing I loved the most is that they gave our children the time of day, every day they said hello and goodbye to myself and the kids. They were so patient with my 3 yr old boy when he asked all the questions about their big work van and tools. He loves his new bedroom and still talks about James the builder now.

All in all we are chuffed with Pro Lofts and all the guys we meet.

Prolofts Essex were fantastic from start through to completion. The initial survey was carried out and followed by a very quick quote return which was broken out clearly and competitively priced. Once we gave the go ahead, we were kept up to date with available start dates & issued with a payment schedule. When the team arrived on site they cracked on and gave very good advice early on with small adjustments to make the layout work better. We were impressed with the speed of the structural works and how quickly the build took shape and kept up to date by Cherelle and Paul of progress and payments due throughout the build. The team on site (James & James) were tidy and polite, they even cleaned the kids toys that our boys kept storing under the scaffold. Once they were in the final week they cleared site with no snags to be found. We now have 4 rooms and a bathroom added that look fantastic. The only extra costs were things that we had requested, no hidden fees at all. If you are looking to get your loft converted, we could not recommend these guys enough, they really delivered a great finish, with great customer service.
